Call for Papers for 2019 – closed March 10, 2018
Cancellation Policy – Cancellations postmarked before 15 March 2019 will be subject to a $20.00 processing fee. No refunds are available after 15 March 2019 until they are discussed with the Executive Board at the June 2019 Annual Meeting.
Syllabus – A link to the electronic syllabus will be sent to all registrants approximately one week before the conference. Other syllabus options are available on the registration form. (Syllabus offers general information on the conference as well as handouts for each of the conference sessions.)
Workshops – Workshops provide a unique opportunity for learning in a small group and thus have limited participation. Workshops on Thurs, Fri, & Sat require conference registration, an extra fee, and will substitute for 2 presentations in the conference schedule.
Waiver of Liability – By registering for this conference you agree and acknowledge that you are participating in NERGC and its associated events and activities out of your own free will and are fully aware that possible physical injury may occur to you as a result of my participation in these events. You acknowledge that you are able to participate in NERGC events and activities and that you do hereby assume responsibility for your own well-being. You agree not to allow any other person to participate in your place.
- Please do not use camcorders/video recorders or tape recorders during the lectures.
- Please do not block lecture room doorways, and do not hold conversations in doorways during sessions.
- Please arrive before each lecture starts to be assured of a seat and to prevent distracting others.
- Please turn off your cell phone and set your pager to silent mode during lecture sessions and events.

NERGC asks that all attendees respect the intellectual property rights and copyrights of NERGC and its speakers and presenters. NERGC does not permit the recording of presentations at NERGC conferences or events without prior written permission. This includes any media, including but not limited to video recordings, transcripts, or audio recordings. Still photographs without flash may be taken during some lectures at the discretion of the speaker, and advance permission is required.
NERGC encourages the use of Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and blogging during the event in order to share information about speakers, sessions, societies, and other information and to highlight, review, and promote elements of the conference or the conference in general. No materials may be reproduced in full and copyright laws must be observed at all times. All information should be cited or referenced appropriately.
Please be sure to silence any devices used for social media during any session or event. All speakers retain the right to request that attendees refrain from the use of social media during their individual session. NERGC representatives may take photography or video and conduct interviews throughout the NERGC Conference sessions. Registration for the NERGC conference grants permission and consent for the use of this photography and video for the purposes of society promotion including, but not limited to, newspapers, television, websites, magazines, and brochures.
