Registration will open on Thursday morning at 8:00 AM, and will remain open during the conference.

Program/Speaker Change:

Ugo Perego, scheduled to speak during Friday's DNA track will be unable to give his talk at the conference as he was recently notified he is scheduled to take his Oath of US Citizenship on March 31.  His colleague, Sacha Masek, a project administrator at the Sorenson Molecular Genealogy Foundation, will be presenting the same topic in his place. Sacha is responsible for national and international collections of both pedigree charts and genealogies. She travels often to attend conferences and workshops where she presents lectures and answers questions about the work at the Foundation.

Our sincere congratulations to Ugo -- and we're looking forward to meeting Sacha!

For Exhibitors Planning Book Signings:

If you're an exhibitor or author of a book and have plans for book signings at any of the vendor booths during the conference, please email Laura Prescott: lgprescott@charter.net with date, time, book title, and author. We'll try to get the word out for you.

Make Your Luncheon Choices, Please:

From Kathleen Felton who is in charge of hosted meals:

We need your help!  With the meeting now just days away, we are finalizing all the details and plans to make this conference the best ever.  In this regard, if you are registered to attend one or both of the luncheons (Friday and/or Saturday), please e-mail NERGCPlanningComittee@myexcel.com  with your menu selection(s).  The choices are:

Friday: Grilled Marinated London Broil    or   Penne Pasta (Vegetarian meal)

Saturday:  Monte Carlo Chicken     or    Pasta Primavera (Vegetarian meal)

This information will be used to provide a more accurate count to the hotel’s Catering Department for those meals.

We appreciate your help and look forward to seeing you in Portland.

Reminder about the Photo Workshop:
