Red Arrow Diner
When my nephew learned that I would be attending a conference in Manchester, New Hampshire, he announced he might drive up from Boston to see the Red Arrow Diner. Well, that piqued my curiosity, and I wanted to learn more about this famous diner.
Their website states the Red Arrow Diner pledges to “create, cook and serve, with consistency and a smile, the most palate pleasing diner eats known to mankind.”
This award-winning diner was founded in 1922 by David Lamontagne. It has received many awards. In 1998, USA Today voted the diner as one of the top ten diners in the country. In 2000, it was named a Manchester, New Hampshire landmark. And in 2018, the owner (Carol Lawrence-Erickson) won the Stars of Industry Award by the New Hampshire Lodging & Restaurant Association.
