GENEALOGICAL BUS TOUR!!
Interested to learn more about where you can do genealogical research in Western Massachusetts? Register now for the Springfield Genealogical Bus Tour during the 2017 NERGC Conference.
The hours for those going on the Genealogical Tour by bus on Wednesday, April 26th have been extended by an hour, so as to allow sufficient time for visiting and learning about all of the sites on the scheduled visits. The hours will be 10am to 3pm (rather than 2pm); everyone registered for the Tour should plan to be at the entrance to the Mass. Departure and Return: From the MassMutual Convention Center
- Calvin Coolidge Presidential Room at the Forbes Genealogical Library
- Lunch and Irish historical displays at the Irish Cultural Center Pub
- Springfield Armory established by George Washington in 1777
- Springfield Cemetery with 25,000 burials from as early as 1641 (John Holyoke)
You can return to any of these sites for research while in Springfield.
